Surf, reset, and do it all again tomorrow.
We start early each day to take advantage of the best morning conditions.
After surfing, we head back to the house for breakfast, and time to relax and recharge between sessions.
After lunch, we review footage from both the previous sunset session and the current morning session so you can see your surfing and apply the feedback.
Group video analysis gives everyone the opportunity to learn from each other’s waves, progress, and coaching feedback throughout the week.
At sunset, we head back out for another surf session.
After surfing, we wind down with dinner, and hanging with the group back at the house or around town.
Depending on the waves and the group’s schedule, we may swap a session for an optional waterfall hike, volcano visit, or a night out in El Tunco.

FAQ
A few things to know before you sign up.
Do I need surfing experience to join the camp?
Absolutely not. Beginners are welcome at this women’s surf camp in El Salvador.
Whether you’ve surfed a few times or never touched a surfboard before, we’ll meet you at your current level and help you progress from there.
What if I’ve never surfed before?
That’s completely okay.
If you’re brand new, we’ll make sure you have extra support in the water, including guidance with positioning, timing, and getting into waves in safer beginner-friendly conditions.
What if I’m nervous about surfing or the ocean?
That’s completely normal, especially if you’re new to surfing.
The ocean is powerful, and we always respect it. Part of this surf camp experience is building confidence at your own pace, and we’ll work with you at whatever level feels comfortable.
What if I’m already an intermediate surfer?
Perfect.
If you’re already catching waves consistently, we’ll focus more on progression, wave selection, positioning, and improving your surfing overall.
Even experienced surfers benefit from local surf knowledge and coaching at breaks like K59, K61, and Sunzal.
Who is this surf camp best suited for?
This women’s surf camp in El Salvador is best for beginner to intermediate surfers looking for coaching, progression, and a supportive group environment.
Many guests travel solo and join to improve their surfing, gain confidence in the water, and experience surf travel in a smaller group setting.
What makes this surf camp different?
This camp focuses on progression and coaching, not just free surfing.
With small groups, daily video review, local surf knowledge, and in-water coaching support, surfers receive more personalized feedback throughout the week.
Do I book my own flight?
Yes, but only after your spot is confirmed for the surf camp.
Once your reservation is secured, we’ll help guide you on the best flights to book so airport transportation lines up smoothly with the group.
Which airport do I fly into?
You’ll fly into San Salvador International Airport (SAL).
Airport transportation between SAL Airport and the K59 surf camp is included.
What should I pack for the surf camp?
Bring bathing suits, sunscreen, rash guards, towels, surf wax, surf combs, backup fins, hats, and anything else you normally like having for surf travel.
Some surf breaks in El Salvador have rocks, so water shoes are also a good idea if you’re comfortable using them.
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Yes.
Please let us know ahead of time about allergies, dietary restrictions, or food preferences so meals can be planned appropriately with our chef.
Is WiFi available?
Yes, WiFi is available at the house.
Are rooms shared?
Yes, rooms are shared depending on the group size.
There will never be more than 3 surfers to a room, although most rooms are shared with 2 people.
What is the house like?
The surf camp takes place at a full private property in K59 with shared living spaces and a kitchen where meals are prepared by our chef.
We’re happy to share additional photos and details after you inquire.
How many surfers are in each camp?
We intentionally keep camps small.
There will never be more than 9 surfers in a group so coaching stays personal and the experience never feels overcrowded.
What if the waves are too big?
That’s where local surf knowledge matters.
Our local surf coaches know multiple breaks throughout El Salvador and can adjust locations based on conditions so the group can still surf safely and comfortably.
Will we surf different breaks?
Yes.
After the first few days, we’ll decide where to surf based on conditions, safety, and the group’s overall comfort and progression level.
Is it safe to travel to El Salvador for a surf camp?
El Salvador has changed significantly over the past several years and has become one of the safer countries in Latin America.
K59 is a small surf community where locals are friendly, welcoming, and very familiar with surfers visiting the area.
Can I come to the surf camp alone?
Absolutely. Many women join this surf camp solo.
Most people arrive not knowing anyone and leave with close friendships by the end of the week.
What languages are spoken?
English and Spanish will be the primary languages spoken throughout the surf camp.
If you’re not fluent or have specific communication needs, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Is this a party-focused surf trip?
This isn’t a party-focused surf camp.
Most people come for the surfing, progression, ocean time, and experience of traveling with a supportive group. That said, we still have fun, go out occasionally, and enjoy the social side of the trip together.
Will I have free time?
Yes.
The schedule is structured around surf sessions, but there’s plenty of downtime throughout the week to relax, explore, nap, enjoy the beach, or recover between sessions.
Do I need to be in great shape?
No.
Surfing can be physically demanding, but the camp is designed around different experience and fitness levels. We encourage everyone to listen to their body and take breaks when needed.
Can I rent a surfboard?
